REHDA Selangor (Zone Shah Alam/Kuala Selangor) organised a project site visit to UMW High-Value Manufacturing Park located in Serendah, Rawang on 7 April 2021. The project site visit aims to provide an insight into the industrial park development and explore the transformation of the Industrial 4.0 initiative. The visit was led by Mr. Denn Gan, Chairman of Shah Alam/Kuala Selangor Zone and joined by a total of 6 REHDA Selangor Committee members.
UMW High-Value Manufacturing Park is a pioneering industrial park that designed to be the centrepiece of Malaysia’s rapidly evolving high-value manufacturing industry. The 861- acre site is going to offer the latest in Industry 4.0 enabled innovation and advanced manufacturing infrastructure.
The visit showcased some key features offered by the park, including providing comprehensive business and development support, built-to-suit facilities and ready-built factories, creating a unique opportunity to meet the business requirements. The planned supporting commercial development, mixed-use development will be the added value to the investors as well as those seeking for a quality living environment.
The REHDA Selangor delegates also had the opportunity to visit the Green Certified Guardhouse by GreenRE as well as the site progress of the development. The study trip ended with knowledge sharing and a better understanding of the Industrial 4.0 transformation initiatives.
