29 June 2022 – Koridor Utiliti Selangor (KUSEL) Briefing at Wisma REHDA

REHDA Selangor organized a briefing session with Koridor Utiliti Selangor (KUSEL) Ketua Pembangunan Koridor, En. Zulkefli Bin Mohd Nani at Wisma REHDA on 29 June 2022. Koridor Utiliti Selangor (KUSEL) is a state government agency administered by the Selangor Utility Corridor Development Steering Committee and monitored by the Selangor Utility Corridor Technical Committee through the Menteri Besar of Selangor (Incorporation) (“MBI”). The objective of the briefing session was to get REHDA Selangor members acquainted with the roles and function of KUSEL which is to coordinate the application for approval of Way Leave and Permit for utility works such as Water, Energy, Telecommunications, Gas and Sewerage in a planned or emergency manner; coordinate and monitor plans for the preparation and diversion of utility infrastructure from the risk of route duplication and repeated excavation; and to plan and provide shared utility infrastructure facilities such as utility tunnels, shared channels, street furniture facilities, smart street lampposts and also fibre optic cables. The discussion session was officiated by Datuk Zaini bin Yusoff (REHDA Selangor Chairman) and Datuk Tan Hon Lim (IUEC Sub Committee Chairman) and attended by REHDA Selangor members.
