On 17 November 2021, REHDA Selangor Chairman Datuk Ho Hon Sang led the delegation of Kajang/Sepang Zone committee members to pay a courtesy call to the YDP Majlis Perbandaran Kajang (MPKj), YBhg. Tuan Haji Majmuddin bin Jemain. The visit was joined by Dato’ Kenneth Chen, Chairman of Kajang/Sepang Zone, Ms Shanaz Muztaza (Deputy Chairlady of Kajang/Sepang Zone) and Ms Cheryl Chan (Secretariat REHDA Selangor).
The delegation took the opportunity to highlight several issues pertaining to the housing industry in the vicinity of Kajang, including the extended construction working hours in Kajang, the approval process on Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC), appeal lower hoarding fees, upgrading of infrastructure, refund of deposits, the appointment of a managing agent by COB, amongst others.
The meeting ended on a high note for both parties to work closely and foster effective cooperation for the development of the housing industry in Kajang.
