The current law required the MC to form sub MC. Hence it posed a challenge for developer’s representation in contract and sales on the formation of sub MC. Survey board has made proposal for demarcation of sub-MC to be formalized prior to sales for better consumer protection and representation.
On the topic of phased development, the main challenge lies in the master title to be made free from encumbrances for issuance of strata title. The massive mixed development to the likes of mid valley requires financing by charging the master title. The challenge remains to be solved to this date.
