The Real Estate and Housing Developers’ Association Malaysia (REHDA) Selangor branch organised the REHDA Selangor Housing Convention on ‘‘Policies and Regulatory Updates Impacting the Housing Industry’ on 20 October 2022 at Shah Alam Convention Centre (SACC).
More than 230 industry players and partners participated in the full-day event. The convention aimed to provide the latest updates on the current and forthcoming regulations that would be relevant to the housing industry.
Yang Amat Berhormat Dato’ Seri Amirudin Bin Shari; Dato’ Menteri Besar Selangor presented his Keynote Address as well as officiated the event. Key officials from various government & private agencies such as Selangor Housing and Property Board (LPHS), PLANMalaysia, PLANMalaysia@Selangor, Koridor Utiliti Selangor (KUSEL) and International Green Trends Cockpit Sdn Bhd presented updates on the various industry guidelines and regulations at this event. Y.B. Puan Rodziah bt. Ismail, Selangor Exco of Housing, Urban Wellbeing and Entrepreneur Development also presented a paper with the title “Sustainable Housing Development: Roles & Significance Between Government And Private Sector”.
