REHDA Selangor Klang/Kuala Langat Zone paid a courtesy call to the YDP Majlis Perbandaran Kuala Langat (MPKL), YBhg. Dato’ Amirul Azizan bin Dato’ Sri Abd Rahim at his office on 20 October 2021. The visit was led by Ir. Teo Ching Wee, Chairman of Klang/Kuala Langat Zone, together with Mr Albert Lee (Deputy Chairman of Klang/Kuala Langat Zone) and Ms Cheryl Chan (Secretariat REHDA Selangor) congratulated YBhg. Dato’ Amirul of MPKL being officially announced as Majlis Perbandaran on 9 September 2020. YBhg. Dato’ Amirul also shared information of foreign investment from China which will be setting up factories in Kuala Langat in near future.
During the visit, several issues pertaining to the housing industry in the vicinity of Kuala Langat was highlighted, including the construction working hours in Kuala Langat, to shorten the OSC submission process, the building of workers dormitories, implementation of Managed Industrial Park, appeal lower hoarding fees, amongst others.
The meeting ended with both parties agreed to work closely to enhance the cooperation and development of the housing industry in Kuala Langat.
