The Real Estate and Housing Developers’ Association Malaysia (REHDA) Selangor branch organised the REHDA Selangor Housing Convention on ‘‘Policies and Regulatory Updates Impacting the Housing Industry’ on Thursday, 15 November 2018 at Dorsett Grand Subang.
More than 200 industry players and partners participated in the full-day event. The convention aimed to provide latest updates on the current and forthcoming regulations that would be relevant to the housing industry.
Key officials from various government agencies such as Jabatan Perumahan Negara (JPN), PlanMalaysia@Selangor, Lembaga Perumahan dan Hartanah Selangor (LPHS), The Royal Malaysian Customs Department, The Department of Survey and Mapping (JUPEM), and Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH) were invited to present updates on the various industry guidelines and regulations at this event. Dato’ Khor Chap Jen, Deputy President of REHDA Malaysia was also invited to present a paper on township development while Dato’ Pretam Singh presented a paper on Strata Management Act 2013 and the Regulations.
REHDA Selangor also announced the launching of its newly revamped website during the convention. Y.B. Puan Haniza Talha officiated the launching with En. Zulkifly Garib, Chairman of REHDA Selangor and Dato’ Khor Chap Jen, Deputy President of REHDA Malaysia.
