A courtesy visit to YBhg. Tuan Mohamad Hanafe Bin Basri, District Officer of Hulu Selangor Land & District Office was held on 15 December 2021 and attended by Mr Michael Fu, Mr Geron Tan, En Zahed B Alim and Pn Kalsum. The objective of the visit was to introduce REHDA and to foster effective interaction with Hulu Selangor Land & District Office.
Among issues discussed and raised by both parties were:
- Concern on submission of charge and consent where Hulu Selangor Land & District Office informed that currently they are receiving 100 cases a day and has 3 staff to work and process up to 30 cases a day.
- Issues with Land Surveyors not responding to Land Office comments and requesting Developers to push.
- Issues on Developers not submitting for strata title submission for developments projects before STA and SMA.
- Suggestion to Land Office to allow for the adoption of video call for assessment of MOT (Form 14A) for buyer convenience and ease of transaction for the property industry for Malay Reserve Land.
