The Shah Alam-Kuala Selangor Zone Committee organised the MAPEX Shah Alam/Kuala Selangor 2022 from 11 to 14 August 2022 at Central I-City, Shah Alam. The objective of MAPEX Shah Alam/Kuala Selangor was to offer unparalleled sales opportunity for those involved in the real estate development industry and to showcase their products and services to interested homebuyers and property investors. The exposition was officiated by YB Tuan Ng Sze Han, the Selangor EXCO for Local Authority, Public Transportation and New Village Development and attended by Datuk Zaini bin Yusoff (REHDA Selangor Chairman), Datuk Ho Hon Sang (Immediate Past Chairman), Mr Loo Chee Yang (MAPEX Shah Alam/Kuala Selangor 2022 Organising Chairman) and Mr Denn Gan Teck Wee (Shah Alam/Kuala Selangor Zone Chairman).
Exhibition space was exclusively limited to only 28 exhibitors and an early bird discount worth RM 1,000 was given to those who registered before 30 June 2022. A total of 16 property developers comprising big names like Eco World, SP Setia Berhad, Sime Darby, PRIMA, PKNS, LPHS etc showcased their products at the event. The exposition was also sponsored by Nippon Paint and RHB Bank who set up a booth to assist homebuyers acquire loans. Various property talks by notable experts in the industry with exciting rewards and giveaways were initiated by REHDA SELANGOR in conjunction with its event organiser, Hong Onn Enlightens that attracted visitors and shoppers alike to the exhibition areas. It was estimated that the exposition attracted a crowd of between 3000 to 5000 visitors over a four-day period.
